This page explains how the Mockuuups affiliate program works. It is written for partners who promote Mockuuups to their audience. The numbered sections below are the legal terms you agree to when you join.
In short: you earn 40% of net revenue from customers who pay through your unique link, tracked for 60 days after they click. We pay monthly in EUR once your approved balance is over €100, via PayPal or Wise. You can share honest reviews and content on channels you own — you cannot bid on our brand, send spam, or fake traffic. We issue self-billed invoices for tax, and either of us can end the program.
1. Agreement
By joining the Mockuuups affiliate program, you agree to these terms.
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email to the address associated with your affiliate account at least fourteen (14) days before a change takes effect. If you do not terminate your account before the change takes effect, your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Changes required by law, or that are clearly in your favor, may take effect immediately on notice.
2. Program Overview
- Commission: 40% of net revenue from all payments made through your unique referral link.
- Cookie duration: 60 days from initial click.
- Payment schedule: Monthly, for commission balances over €100. Smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
- Payment method: PayPal or Wise (€100 minimum threshold). Payments are made in EUR.
3. Acceptable Promotional Methods
You may:
- Share your referral links on social media, blogs, and websites you own.
- Create honest reviews and educational content about Mockuuups.
- Use provided brand assets and messaging from our partner guide.
- Mention Mockuuups in relevant design communities and forums.
You may not:
- Use paid search advertising on trademarked terms (Mockuuups, Mockuuups Studio, and variants or misspellings).
- Bid on our trademark terms in Google Ads or similar platforms.
- Create misleading content or false claims about our products.
- Spam email lists or engage in unsolicited mass messaging.
- Create fake reviews or testimonials.
- Use our brand assets in ways that suggest an official partnership beyond the affiliate relationship.
4. Commission Structure
- Qualifying purchases: All payments made within 60 days of a click on your referral link.
- Non-qualifying: Your own purchases, refunded orders, chargebacks, fraudulent transactions, and purchases from existing customers (determined by email or payment method).
- Calculation: Based on net revenue after taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Offset: If we have overpaid you for any reason, we may adjust or offset the excess against subsequent commissions payable to you.
5. Payment Terms
- Commissions are calculated monthly and paid within 30 days.
- Minimum payout threshold: €100.
- We may hold payments for up to 60 days to account for potential refunds.
- Payments may be delayed or withheld for suspicious activity or terms violations.
- You are responsible for any taxes on your commission income, subject to Sections 6 and 7.
6. Invoicing and Self-Billing
To keep payment and tax handling clean for both sides, commissions are documented through self-billing.
- Authorization. By joining the program, you authorize Mockuuups s.r.o. to issue invoices on your behalf for all commissions you earn under these terms. You do not need to issue your own invoice.
- Acceptance. We send each self-billed invoice to the email address associated with your account once your payment is processed. It is deemed accepted unless you notify us in writing of a specific objection within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date it is sent. An objection must identify the invoice reference and describe the discrepancy. Failure to object within this period is irrevocable acceptance of the invoice, including for your own tax purposes.
- No duplicate invoices. You agree not to issue your own invoice or equivalent tax document for any commission already covered by a self-billed invoice we issue. Issuing a duplicate for the same period and supply is a material breach of these terms.
- Your records. You agree to keep records of the self-billed invoices issued on your behalf and to report the income in your own tax filings and returns.
7. Tax Information and VAT Treatment
7.1 Tax information you must provide
Before your first payout, and at any time on our request, you must provide accurate and current: (i) full legal name and address; (ii) country of tax residency; (iii) whether you take part as a business or self-employed person, or as a private individual; (iv) your taxpayer identification number or equivalent, where you have one; and (v) your VAT registration number, where you are registered for VAT. You warrant this information is accurate and will notify us in writing within ten (10) days of any change.
7.2 VAT treatment by residency
The VAT treatment of self-billed invoices depends on your country of tax residency and VAT status:
- (a) EU affiliates outside the Czech Republic with a valid VAT number verifiable in the EU VIES system: the reverse-charge mechanism applies. Self-billed invoices are issued without Czech VAT, Mockuuups accounts for the VAT in the Czech Republic, and you self-report the supply of services in your own jurisdiction. If you do not provide a valid, VIES-verified VAT number, we may withhold payment until you do.
- (b) Non-EU affiliates. Self-billed invoices are issued without EU VAT. Mockuuups self-assesses Czech VAT on the received service where required. Where Czech non-resident tax rules apply, we may withhold tax unless you provide a certificate of tax residency from the competent authority of your country evidencing a reduced rate under an applicable double-taxation treaty. Such certificates must be renewed annually.
7.3 If you don't provide tax information
If you fail to provide the information in Section 7.1 within fifteen (15) days of our request, we may (i) suspend payment until we receive it; (ii) apply the withholding rate applicable in the absence of contrary evidence; or (iii) terminate these terms.
7.4 Your responsibility
You remain solely responsible for determining and meeting your own tax obligations on the commissions you receive. If we incur any penalty, interest, or additional tax liability because of inaccurate information you provided or a change you failed to notify, you will indemnify us for that amount.
8. Prohibited Activities
Immediate termination will result from:
- Trademark infringement or brand misrepresentation.
- Fraudulent activity or fake traffic generation.
- Violation of any laws or regulations.
- Attempting to game the system or create artificial referrals.
9. Intellectual Property
- All Mockuuups trademarks, logos, and content remain our property.
- You may not modify our brand assets without written permission.
- On termination, you must remove all our brand assets from your content within five (5) business days.
10. Data and Privacy
- Your personal data. In connection with the program we process your personal data (name, contact details, tax identification information, and payment data) as data controller. We do so to perform this agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations including tax and invoicing (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and where applicable on the basis of our legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) are set out in our Privacy Policy, which prevails in case of conflict.
- Tracking data. We track clicks, conversions, and commission data to administer the program and calculate fees, on the basis of performing this agreement. We do not use this data for unrelated purposes.
- International transfers. Where payments are processed via PayPal, personal data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which PayPal is certified.
- You must comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, and others) in your own promotional activities.
11. Termination
We may terminate your participation:
- At any time, immediately, for a terms violation.
- Otherwise with 30 days' notice.
You may terminate at any time by contacting [email protected].
On termination, commissions accrued for qualifying purchases completed before the effective date are paid according to the normal schedule, provided no grounds for withholding under these terms apply. Sections 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14 survive termination.
