Some mockups fail to render due to graphics limitations
Mockuuups Studio uses WebGL and GPU shaders to render advanced effects like blur, color adjustments, and filters. Some devices — particularly older computers, integrated graphics cards, or certain mobile devices — may not fully support these features.
This is different from Canvas being blocked by privacy tools. In this case, your browser tries to render but the graphics hardware reports an error.
What can you do?
1. Update your graphics drivers
Windows:
- Right-click Start → Device Manager → Display adapters
- Right-click your graphics card → Update driver
- Or visit your GPU manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel)
Mac:
- Graphics drivers are updated through macOS updates
- Go to System Preferences → Software Update
2. Try a different browser
Some browsers handle WebGL better than others:
- Google Chrome usually has the best WebGL support
- Firefox is a good alternative
- Avoid using browsers in "safe mode" or with hardware acceleration disabled
3. Check hardware acceleration
Make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser:
-
Chrome: Settings → System → "Use hardware acceleration when available" -
Firefox: Settings → Performance → "Use recommended performance settings" or enable "Use hardware acceleration when available"
4. Try on a different device
If you're on an older computer or a device with limited graphics capabilities, try using Mockuuups Studio on a more recent device with dedicated graphics.
Which mockups are affected?
Not all mockups use advanced GPU effects. Mockups with blur, shadows, or complex color adjustments are more likely to be affected. Simple mockups should still work.
